Peerawat Pannattee

Hello World! 👋

My name is Peerawat (พีระวัฒน์ พันธ์นัทธีร์), but I also go by TK. I was born and raised in Korat, a city in northeastern Thailand (that is well known as the birthplace of the Korat cat 🐈). I later moved to Bangkok to pursue my bachelor's and master's degrees before moving to Japan for my PhD.

I am currently based in Japan, where I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Brain Image Analysis Unit at the RIKEN Center for Brain Science (CBS).

My research focuses on applying deep learning to brain image analysis, with particular emphasis on processing fluorescent axonal pathways in autofluorescent microscopic brain images. More broadly, I am interested in using AI to solve scientific problems, particularly those involving biomedical data and neuroscience.
